JEFF MILLER is as a healthcare lawyer whose practice includes both transactional matters and litigation. He is often called on to litigate difficult and complicated cases between hospitals and doctors. Jeff also represents healthcare clients in operational matters, government compliance investigations, Joint Commission accreditation and Medicare certification as well as contracting, credentialing, peer review and licensing issues.

A large part of Jeff’s practice involves the medical peer review process. When hospital management needs to remove a doctor’s medical privileges, Jeff works on their behalf to establish the case for the disciplinary action. He also defends the hospital if subsequent lawsuits should arise.

Prior to joining H³GM, Jeff ran a successful business providing medical cost recovery services to Medicaid Managed Care Organizations as well as an alternative reimbursement service for hospitals that treat accident victims. In 2001 he sold his interest in the business to his partner in order to dedicate himself to the full-time practice of healthcare law.
