GREG GIFFEN regularly counsels clients who are buying, selling, starting or operating businesses. With a background in finance and accounting, he knows the language of corporate finance and understands the objectives of his clients, who are making strategic business decisions on issues such as mergers and acquisitions, acquiring venture capital and debt financing and other business, tax and financial transactions.

Many of Greg’s clients are physicians and healthcare executives who come to him for advice on major transactions such as combining with another business or practice, or expanding into new ancillary services. They also look to him for advice on accomplishing their investment objectives and how to better run the day-to-day operations of their practices or businesses. Greg helps them craft employment agreements, deal with corporate governance issues and comply with healthcare regulations. Many of Greg’s client relationships are long standing – a testimony to the service he provides. In fact, his very first project at H3GM was for a group of orthopedists  in 1997, and now,  they remain one of his regular clients.

Greg has been listed in Mid-South Super Lawyers as a “Rising Star” in mergers and acquisitions law. He is a certified public accountant with strong academic credentials in accounting and tax planning in addition to his law degree.
