ALEX FARDON, as head of H3GM’s Litigation Practice Group, helps business clients resolve complex disputes. His strengths as a litigator are his analytical skills, focus and discipline. For each of his clients, Alex masters the often enormous amounts of information involved in the disputes, analyzes all possible resolution scenarios, and develops the best strategy for victory.
Alex handles all types of business-related litigation, including contract claims, business torts, employment disputes, trade secrets litigation, attorney and accountant malpractice claims, ERISA benefits litigation, securities claims and property disputes. In addition, many of his clients look to him to offer advice and guidance with their contracts.
An early highlight of Alex's career was successfully arguing before the Tennessee Supreme Court in one of the first sexual harassment cases to be heard by that court.
Alex has been honored with the Tennessee Bar Association's Justice Joseph W. Henry Award for Outstanding Legal Writing and the Nashville Bar Association's President's Award. He authored "The Lawyer Bob Series" and "Writing to Persuade," and he has written and served as editor for the Nashville Bar Journal. Alex has also lectured on trade secrets, federal court procedure, and important commercial case decisions by Tennessee courts. He is a member of H3GM's Executive Committee
After graduating from Yale Law School, Alex served as a judicial clerk to U.S. District Judge Thomas A. Wiseman, Jr., Middle District of Tennessee. When not practicing law, Alex enjoys playing classical guitar and volunteering as a musician for Musicians on Call, a non-profit that provides in-room performances to hospital and nursing home patients. He also enjoys spending time with his wife, two children, and their golden retriever, Lucky Puck.
