- H3GM represented McLanahan Corp., a heavy duty equipment designer and manufacturer based in Hollidaysburg, Pa., in its acquisition of Universal Engineering Corp., based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
- The federal government’s seizures of fingerboards at Gibson Guitar facilities in Nashville and Memphis received much media attention.
- H3GM assisted The City of Forest Hills in the negotiation of a 100 year ground lease of land and construction contracts for a new city hall.
- H3GM represents a North Carolina land development company that acquired 372 acres in Middle Tennessee only to learn that the seller had failed to disclose that its geotechnical firm had found 72 sinkholes on the property.

- H3GM advised the management team of HealthSpring, Inc. (NYSE:HS), one of the country’s largest Medicare Advantage coordinated care plans, in its merger agreement with Cigna Corporation (NYSE:CI).
- NeWire, Inc. v. Southwire Company (Sumner County, Tennessee Chancery Court): H3GM represents NeWire, which owns patent rights internationally to a revolutionary technology known as “flatwire.” NeWire contends that Southwire has breached the best efforts commitment Southwire made as part of that license agreement,
- H3GM successfully defended, at trial, a shareholder derivative action filed by one of the 50/50 shareholders.
- H3GM represented Radiology Alliance, P.C. in structuring a joint venture with TriStar Health Systems, Inc., making it the exclusive provider of outpatient imaging services to Nashville-area TriStar hospitals.

- Care Foundation of America, Inc. v. National Health Investors, Inc.: H3GM represented National Health Investors, Inc. (NYSE:NHI) in an adversary proceeding in which bankruptcy debtor CFA asserted various claims arising from NHI’s sale of six Florida nursing homes to CFA.
- H3GM represented landowners in an eminent domain proceeding involving property condemned for the development of a public school.
- H3GM represented Metron Digital Services, Inc., a nationwide distributor, in connection with out-of-court shut down of its operations.
