H3GM represented Rivals.com in its sale to Yahoo Inc. (NasdaqGS:YHOO) in a private transaction that provides liquidity for Rivals.com’s stockholders. Brentwood, Tennessee based Rivals.com is a leading high school and college sports website. With a primary focus on football and basketball, Rivals.com runs a network of over 150 separate websites that attract approximately 2 million fans per month. This acquisition expands Yahoo! Sports’ community offerings by strengthening its coverage of national sports stories and adding coverage of locally driven open publishing networks, something that Yahoo! had not previously offered to its sports audience. H3GM is a longtime business partner of Rivals.com and has represented them throughout the years in the areas of securities, corporate, intellectual property and operational matters.
