OralDNA Labs: Company Formation and Private Equity Funding
H3GM advised OralDNA Labs Inc. and its management team, led by CEO Brian Carr and Chairman Tom Nabors, in the company’s formation and private equity funding. Private equity firm Oak Investment Partners participated in the funding.
OralDNA is a specialty diagnostics company established to bring medical laboratory diagnostics to the dental field.
H3GM previously represented Mr. Carr in other ventures, most recently American Esoteric Laboratories, including its formation, venture capital funding, growth through strategic acquisitions, and eventual sale to Sonic Healthcare, a public Australian healthcare company, for over $180 million. H3GM partner David Cox said of Mr. Carr, “Brian is a terrific entrepreneur and it has been a pleasure partnering with him during the different stages of his business ventures, particularly his newest company , OralDNA, which I see as a truly innovative life sciences opportunity.”
