JEFF MILLER is a sharholder in the firm’s Corporate, Healthcare, Physician Services, Technology & Intellectual Property, and Litigation practice groups. His practice focuses on the representation of hospitals, medical staffs, managed care enterprises, institutional and individual healthcare providers throughout the United States in a broad spectrum of matters, including government regulatory compliance and investigations, contracting issues, credentialing, peer review, licensing, medical staff bylaws, Joint Commission accreditation and Medicare certification.

Jeff is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the American Health Lawyers Association, the Tennessee Bar Association’s Health Law Section, and the Association of Subrogation Professionals.

Jeff received a BS from Arizona State University in 1991 and his JD from the University of Tennessee College of Law, cum laude, in 1994.

Consistent with Jeff’s diverse background of experience, following law school he started, and successfully ran, a small business providing medical cost recovery services to Medicaid Managed Care Organizations (subrogation), as well as an alternate reimbursement service for hospitals enabling fuller compensation for those clients arising from accident cases. Jeff sold his interest in this business to his partner and father in 2001 in order to dedicate himself to the full-time practice of healthcare law.
